They’re 501’s, based off the 1947 model (a slim straight leg), have covered rivets, a leather patch, and are made from selvage denim in the USA.

Handsanded to create an authentic broken-in look and feel and finished with a damaged indigo wash that’s exclusive to J. Crew.

The definitive five-pocket jean and the quintessential 501®, the 1947 jean is considered by many denim connoisseurs to have the most iconic cut and features, including a double-needle arcuate (with lemon-yellow stitching) and a selvedge edge on the inside of the coin pocket. Wartime restrictions had ended, hence the hefty 14-ounce denim, and the ’47 model also introduced the return of the riveted watch pocket. This version is hard washed and lightly scuffed for an authentic aged finish.
