I had an authentic one bought in 1976 from a second hand stall. It wreaked of sweat and tobacco. I boiled it three times to get it fresh. I paid £3/$5 I had not seen another only on an old cowboy film. I loaned it to my mate and he gave it away!!! Now I have a repro. Oh well. Life.
Does anyone remember the Radio Luxemburg jingle " if you're weary and saddle sore...get Levi;s and you wont be sore no more". Not many cowboys in UK in the late 60s early 70s.lol
